Our services are designed to cater to students' needs at every stage of the college application process, from their freshman year to their senior year. We offer several packages, including the Essential Package, which includes comprehensive career and college assessments, and Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Packages that coach students through time-sensitive deadlines. Our Application, Common App, and Essay Packages are designed to help students create a unique college application profile that stands out. Additionally, we offer workshops, resources for parents, and customized packages to meet the needs of each family.

What is the ideal time to begin planning for college?

Ideally, it is recommended to begin thinking about and preparing for college during the summer before your high school freshman year. However, even if you seek help later, it can still be beneficial to you.

Why begin so early? Won’t my student’s interest change?

Starting the college preparation process early is highly recommended as it allows our team to develop a relationship with your student, understand their natural aptitudes, and guide them through refining their choices, improving their learning and test scores, selecting the correct high school classes, and exploring potential career paths through shadowing and test-driving. Additionally, starting early allows us to help students record life events that can be used to build an impressive essay for both college and scholarship interviews. This process also helps to build the confidence needed to make the most of the college experience without the stress of the unknown. While your student's interests may change, their aptitudes will remain the same, and starting early will help them to make informed decisions about their future.

Does College Career Consulting work for and/or endorse specific colleges?

No, we do not. We do not match students to any specific college but we give you a list of schools or universities that are a good fit for your student’s personality and career choice.

Whether we meet with you in person or remotely, rest assured that our sessions are designed to be engaging, informative, and tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Will College Career Consulting tell me what my career should be?

At College Career Consulting, we believe that the best career choice is one that is informed by comprehensive and exhaustive data. While we will provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision, we won't make the decision for you. Instead, we will provide you with a list of good career fits as well as poor fits, and explain how those careers match or don't match your learning style preferences, natural aptitudes, temperament, values, and interests. We believe that by providing you with the tools you need to make an informed decision, you will be better equipped to choose a career that is not only fulfilling but also aligned with your unique strengths and goals.
